Welcome to the Andover Sportsman's Club
We are currently 415 members strong, operating 140 acres in central and rural Andover, Connecticut. We have a brand new skeet facility, four state-of-the-art trap fields, a 100-yard rifle range, a 25 yard pistol range, a 25-yard tactical pistol range, and a 30 target action archery course. We host a variety of events during the course of the year in order to promote shooting and archery sports. Many of our events and competitions are open to the public. In addition to our facilities, we host the DEEP CE/FS Hunter Safety Training course and we have a number of certified NRA instructors who provide training including the NRA pistol course, a one-day course open to the general public, and a requirement for obtaining a state permit to carry pistols and revolvers. Upcoming Club Events and Activities
- The next Sporting Clay Shoot is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th. Scott and our Sporting Clay staff are already getting equipment tuned in preparation to provide another fun and challenging event. For more information about this event you can email email@example.com
- We will be holding a 3-Gun match on Sunday, October 18th. Sign-up for this event is at 7:45 am, walk-through is at 8:30 am and shooting starts at 9:00 am. The cost is $15.00 for members and $18.00 for non-members. Participatants must bring two chamber flags for long guns. - The annual Len Parracino Military Rifle Match will be held on Saturday, October 24th. This will be a 40 round match, 10 rounds each, prone, sitting, kneeling and off-hand using a military style rifle. You may substitute additional off-hand positions for sitting and kneeling. The cost is $5.00 plus two cans of food for members and $8.00 plus two cans of food for non-members. The food collected will be donated to the Andover Food Pantry in Len's name. We will also have a Tommy Gun poker match with a $5.00 buy-in. You will get 7 rounds in a Tommy Gun with a drum to shoot at a deck of cards. The best 5 card hand will win the pot.
